Entourage - Season 5

They're back!

Good way to kick off the season.

Seeing Vince with a full beard was weird as hell.

Loved the nod to The Godfather at the end.

Great 2nd episode.

Ari is an ass. Drama is in misery. Eric is all-work. Vince is back. And Turtle is getting laid.

Everything's going back to normal.

Didn't like the second episode as much as the first (the stuff with Drama became a little too much). But still, some fantastic lines...when Ari was on the phone with Eric and just grabbed the phone out of the other agent's hand and slammed it to the ground without so much as a pause in his stride...we were absolutely dying.

Vince "playing movie star" should get us more of what we all want: women and partying. Smart move for the show.

I was really surprised at the Ari/Vince scene in his office. Didn't expect them to go down that angle but it worked well.

I loved the scene with Ari and Wahlberg golfing. Watching Ari explode after his second drive was awesome.

It's good to see the other guys not coddling Vince so much, in addition to that scene where Ari told him how he felt about his acting ability/current career prospects his crew also suggested hitting the gym a bit.

Drama's act has been a little too dramatic in these first two episodes though with the "don't shoot my bad side" incident and the internet girl obsession.

Good enough for a filler episode.

"That is what we call a bitch slap. A bitch slap for a bitch."

Best line of the season so far for me.

Ep 4 was good. Drama just might make it past that meltdown.

I loved the entire bidding war for E's writer's script.

Yeah it was. Although once again Vince proves to be a huge bitch. A guy you care about gets the offer of a lifetime, one that also can help bring your career out of the can, and you sulk? What a pussy.

Obviously something will happen (maybe an ultimatum that he has to cut ties with Vince) that prevents Ari from getting the job.

Johnny Drama is an asshole.

I wonder how much Ari was making at his own agency to even consider turning down $10m a year.

Last night was awesome. I feel for Turtle after that episode. He and Drama are amazing together this season, though I am REALLY sick of E. As big a bitch as Weinstein is, he would've fucked up E when E got in his face.

My only gripe is Ari as a Studio Head woud've been an amazing dynamic to the show. As it is, it's still very good, but just thinking of Ari fucking over Vince for a role he wants as Studio head would've been awesome.

Loving this season, although Drama is becoming a bore with his constant whining.

Great, great episode though...Jeremy Piven is incredible in this role.

Agreed on that point. There are so many ways they could have gone with that.

Is it just me or does watching Seth Green getting sucker punched make the day brighter?

Oh, and Emmanuelle Chriqui is hot as ever.

These two, plus Ari's complete beatdown of Babs, were the only good parts of the episode. The actual storylines sucked and the episode didn't move anything anywhere.

Yep. Definitely felt like a filler episode. I'm hoping that they move on with the story.

I love Ari Gold.

Also, Ep. 11 was great. First time the entire season I was actually concerned about how everything would play out.

This season has been far more serious than most. I had some trouble with that for awhile but in a way it's also been one of the more interesting seasons because of that.

And give it up for Turtle......though dude, your buddies have to understand and let you go to La Jolla man.

I read somewhere IRL Jerry Ferrara is dating Jamie Lynn Sigler since she appeared on the show.

Yay for the season ender. Vince and E's relationship finally showed some depth beyond the same old same old they've had in the past four seasons. I love how they fleshed out Turtle this season.

This was a great season, perhaps their best.

Can't wait for season six, summer of '09!

Indeed. I loved the final episode last night - great to see Vince finally snap and I'm glad they didn't have a cliffhanger regarding resolution to the fight he had with E. It's been a tough year for him so it's nice to see their issues get resolved and have the year end with some optimism for Vince's career.

Jamie-Lynn doing phone sex helped too

Turtle's mom listening in while he was trying to have phone sex was great.
