The hunt for a spot in the league's first playoff is on. It starts here. Like last week (made an alltime personal high four deals, and got good talks on others), I have some good players available:

1B Carlos Trujillo (need power?)
1B Eric Cherry (still low paid and solid)
SP Doyle Adams (steady as they come)
SP Nori Kitamura (only once 4+ ERA in 7 year career)
CL Dennis Marnane (will be hard to get, but his moderate cap hit means I'll at least talk about him)

I am looking for a natural 2B first off, and will look at SS and 3B, too. Younger is better. Willing to move prospects as well for a very good talent. I don't need pitching, but will talk about it. As usual, I have pitching I can deal, so if you're looking for pitching, you might want to come look.

In particular, this offseason, I am focusing on EYE and OBP ability.

Baltimore has 3B Ignacio Costa and CF Domingo Sanchez available.

Both are high 90's in power rating and signed to approx $4mil per until 1985.

I'm looking for high OBP guys in return. Of course pitching and prospects are always welcome as well.

2b Greg Moore is also available. 82 contact 73 power. A mainstay of my IF for the past 8 seasons. Making $1.2mil.

Before the new season starts, I have a new player to put on the block:

SP Ite Beens

He's still got some rubber on the tires left, and is making a reasonable 4.7 million this year, with a mutual option next year.

Stats last year:

3.75 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, .262 OAVG

He's not a #3 guy, but should do well in a #4/5 role.

In return, I need someone who can play CF. I prefer a decent CON/EYE rating, age should be under 32 years old.
