The Speeches

I thought about putting this in the election thread, but honestly I didn't want it to get lost. Has anybody come across Obama's victory speech and McCain's concession speech from last night? I would prefer to find them in a version that I can pop onto my iPod, so I can watch/listen to them tomorrow while I'm at work. With the Convention speeches, they were up on iTunes the next day, but I have yet to find them in an iPod-friendly format...

Any help? I heard in particular that McCain did a great job, and I'd really like to catch it.

/tk

There is probably an easier way but here's what I have:

1) Find YT link to the speeches. Here's McCain: YouTube - John McCain Concession Speech

2) Paste YT URL into KeepVid.com.

3) Download video as .mp4 format.

You should know be able to play the video on your iPod/iPhone. I would also look into programs like "Handbreak" for your DVDs.

Thanks, samifan!
Never heard of KeepVid.com before, looks like a good tip. I actually have a way to do my DVD's, though since I have a 5G iPod, I don't do too many videos on there. Thanks for the tip!

Both speeches were excellent, and both seemed to hit just the right points and with the right tones.
