Fantasy Football Q

My kicker has a bye and I am in a league which only allows 15 transactions. I'm trying to avoid "wasting" one on a new kicker (one who's already had their bye week) as a replacement in the hopes that I can win without a K and save the transaction.

My question is, if I wait until the afternoon games (or later) to sign a kicker who's already had a bye week, will I be allowed to insert him into the lineup? I would be cutting a player who is on my bench.

This is a Yahoo! fantasy league FYI.

Limited transactions sound like a dumb vestige of the old pencil-and-paper days. I can't imagine any argument for maintaining such a rule in an online, fully automated league. *shurg*
