ping Burghers(plus swaggs pumpy sak etc)

I was looking at the remainder of the pirates schedule and was wondering if anyone was game to meet up for a ballgame before the end of the year.

I see 3 dates that I could do. I'm pretty much limited to a Sunday game due to work. Aug 31 vs the brewers. Sept 14 vs the cardinals or Sept 21 vs the astros.

They have an all you can eat package for 40 bucks or we could get Better seats for around 25 and pay out the ass for food. There's a good chance one of those Sundays is a nationality day as well. Anyways just throwing it out there to check out interest

That sounds pretty neat. For me to show up, it would have to be September, because I'll be out of town on August 31. I don't think my wife has anything planned for us on either of those September days, but I'll have to check.

Good idea trying to set this up!

I could fly up on a cheap flight and make up the difference with the "all you can eat" package.

I just found out that the local AA team has an all you can eat section. I haven't tried it out yet, but I think I may have to before the season is over...

I should clarify that it's not all the food in the park but it does include most of the basics. Trust me there will be a live BLOG from the event. Its 35 if you buy ahead of time but I'm not sure that would be logistically possible.

Does it include Primanti's?

I was just thinking about one of those today.

Doh.. should have read the second sentence.

I wouldn't do all you can eat, because I'll fill up on Primanti's.

September 14 is the best date for me. I guess I should warn everyone that my wife will probably want to tag along, so if I do this, we'll have to put up with a college professor constantly saying, "BASEBALL IS CONFUSING!"

Sept 14 looks like a good day for me as well. Pirates vs Cardinals.

The game is at 1:35 pm, once it gets closer I'm sure we can finalize plans. I dunno how hard tickets will be to get. I'd assume quite easy, because there are around 10k empties per night. But I'll keep an eye on it.

I'll probably leave my wife at home cause I'm afraid Pumpy might offer her a moustache ride.

That and the fact that she hates baseball, and most certainly knows less about it than Dr. Tudors.
