T-Wolves sign Michael Olowokandi

I never liked Rasho, so I think Olowokandi should be a huge upgrade if he can walk upright. Anyone watch Olowokandi more to tell me what I can expect?

He is inconsistant. Just when you think he'll turn the corner and average 20/10, he ends up around 10/7 for the next stretch. But he's probably not as bad as the Clips made him. Then again, most players who are "talent" leave the Clippers and don't play as well

Y'all don't like Nesterovich? [NOTE: I've never seen him play so I'm curious.]

I think the problem with Olowokandi will always be expectations/potential. I don't think he'll ever become the 20/10 guy everyone expects from a number 1 overall pick. But I think he can become a 15/8 guy who's a decent threat in the post and defensive is . . . uhhhh, tall. I don't know the financial figures but if that's about what they expect from him, they should be happy.

Kandi is quite good when healthy and motivated. Quite bad when he isn't just one of the two. No in between. I think a lot of the higher echelon teams weren't convinced they could get 70-80 good nights out of him so they passed. All-Star talent, without a doubt. Either be the biggest bargain or the biggest bust.

Kandi at $5-6 million per is a steal compared to what San Antonio paid for Nesterovich.

What Rasho provided last year, 12 ppg and 7 rpg, is probably the most you can hope for from him. Olowokandi has a bit more upside at least. Still, I would have rather seen Rasho resign to the Twolves could have used that midlevel exception to add a player rather than replace one.

Not that it matters, how do you beat the Lakers now?
