The Penacutioneer!

KC has Joakim Soria, the Mexicutioneer -- now we have Tony Pena Jr.!

That pitching performance must be seen to believe. He pitched the ninth inning against the Tigers last night (the Royals only 1-2-3 inning of the game), hit 91 on the radar gun and struck out Ivan Rodriguez with a wicked curveball.

He's hitting .154. What the hell is this guy doing at shortstop?

Wow that was a nasty curve he threw to K Rodriguez. We know he can't hit but maybe the Royals give him some side sessions to see if he can repeat his delivery and motion. They don't have much to lose in the situation. Best case scenario is Pena, Jr. becomes another Rafael Betancourt (circa '07, not this year).

Mexicutioneer? Penacutioneer? What? Are they running auctions in Kansas City or something? Don't they usually skip the auction and just go straight to the fire sales?
