OT - Visual Basic use in Microsoft Excel

The problem is I need to be able to use visual basic code in a excel cell. I have the code for the method I am using all done but I need to know how to go about doing this. What changes do I need to make in the code to use cell references? Will cout show up in excel? How do I even get started? Excel's help file is utterly useless for what I am trying to do and I am hoping that one or several of you guys/gals can help me.

My VBA is rusty, so I cannot give you a specific answer, but what I suggest is that you record a macro in Excel and then view the code the macro generate to get the proper syntax for referencing cells. It's something like Sheet!Cell.Value to access the cell's value, but that may be off.
