As a Steeler fan who lives in Illinois, I cannot wait for Bear fans to cuss about Kordell Stewart.

My girlfriend decided that we should take a weekend trip to San Antonio in August. I got really excited about it when I realized that the Cowboys will be having training camp in San Antone again this year, and that I might be able to sneak away for a few hours and watch them practice. I then became very sad when I realized that the only weekend we could go would be August 22-24 and that the Cowboys move camp back to Dallas on the fifteenth.

Sigh...

My roommate is a huge Bears fan, and he loves the move. Actually, he loves every move the Cubs, Bulls, and Bears make. I did not know him back then, but I bet he loved it when the Cubs picked up Dave Smith to be their closer.

I'll take it easy on Bear fans, since we have a common enemy: the Green Bay Packers. Remember, the enemy of your enemy is your friend.

Is it wrong of me to wish the summer to be over?

In some ways yes, cause I don't wanna go back to school. In some ways no, cause Baseball sucks, and it's time for football to start up again.

Just curious any news on which team is going to be featured on HBO's 'Hard Knocks' this year. I like that program.

I think that I heard that HBO wasn't going to do it this year. I'm not sure if it's permanantly cancelled or if they're just taking a one year break.

It sucks though, cause I loved watching it last year...

HBO wasn't even going to do hard knocks last year until they found out dallas wanted to do it. originally, it was just going to be a one year deal

I was just down at Ford Field to pick up tickets for the MSU basketball game, and while there I bought one of the new Lion's jerseys (Joey Harrington, of course). I wish I hadn't gone down there because it made me think about football all day. Once my season tix get here it will be an excruciatingly long month till the preseason starts.

Hey, speaking of football season, wasn't the XFL supposed to start by now? Did they delay the season or something?
