"Playing through the pain"

So, I'm in a bit of a quandary. My band has a show on Sunday afternoon, and I play the keyboard and bass guitar. However, last night the middle finger on my right hand was feeling odd (sort of a tightness when I bent it) during practice, so I cut rehearsal short a bit. This morning, it's swollen and hurts moderately when I bend or put pressure on it. The strangest thing was that I didn't do anything in particular that started this...

I'm going to go see the doctor to get it checked out - but the show must go on. My bass playing shouldn't be affected, but the keys could be a serious problem. I'm going to ask my doctor for advice, of course...but does anyone here have any suggestions as to how to handle it? I'll take anything I can get.

A hell of a lot of advil and some ice through the weekend and heat before the show? Honestly, I don't know...that is pretty much my remedy for all of my injuries, though.

And, good luck with the show!
