TEW Multiplayer: Decemeber 2000

First off, I am a TEW MP whore, yes. But dynasties help me play the game because otherwise I get lost with what I am doing. So GeneralMike and I are putting together a MP dynasty based around the wrestling world as of December 2000. He'll be taking the reigns of WWF while I have WCW. To put it in context this how wrestling was then.

WWF - Led by the Rock, Steve Austin, Triple H the WWF is a top the wrestling world. They have young stars like Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle, and have guys under contract developing in OVW like Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton. They control Monday Nights and are a cash cow.

WCW - WCW has the talent but is in horrible shape with only 10 million dollars to their name. The roster is so bloated that it takes about 10 seconds to scroll through and the guys at the top of the card pretty much suck. Thankfully there is hope with guys like Booker T, DDP, Shane Douglas and Scott Steiner to pick up the slack and make WCW good again.

ECW - ECW has 500 K and no TV deal. They're going down fast and it doesn't seem like there's much hope of saving. Still ECW has some good talent so they could perserve but it'll take a miracle.

So there you have the rundown. This could end very quick if I don't get my shit together and make WCW not only good, but also make money. More to come as the dynasty emerges.

I'm really excited about this project. My roster is absolutely loaded. I really don't know what direction I want to go in, but I have the means to go alot of different ways.

I'll run down the roster more in-depth later on.

WWF Monday Night Raw from Madison Square Garden, New York City in front of 26,897 fans.

Before the TV show started, William Regal defeated K-Kwick by submission in 9:42 of a European Title Match. (B). Steven Richards and RTC ran down Commissioner Foley for the benefit of the fans in attendance at MSG. (A)

Raw started off with Commissioner Foley in the ring, and in the middle of milking a bunch of cheap pops, he announced that later on tonight we would see Chris Benoit battle Eddie Guerrero. (B+)

Our opening match featured RTC members Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather successfully defended their world tag team titles against Kaientai. (C-)

Backstage, 3 evil heels - Rikishi, Raven and Val Venis - announced that they were forming an alliance and would soon rule the WWF. (B-)

Our next match featured 2 sets of tag teams battling for midcard supremacy. The APA & The Hardys beat Lo-Down and The Hollys in 10:58 after Matt Hardy pinned Crash Holly. (C+) After the match, Big Show and Albert came into the ring and destroyed Jeff Hardy. (B)

After a commercial break, we got to see Tazz beat Perry Saturn by Tazzmission in 7:51 (B). After the conclusion of the match we saw footage of Jeff Hardy being loaded into an ambulance, after his horriffic beating at the hands of the Big Show and Albert (B+)

In an Intercontinental Title Match, Edge won the title for the first time, after help from his tag team partner Christian in 9:57 (C+)

The Rock then came to the ring to challenge WWF World Champion Kurt Angle, but Angle never appeared to answer the challenge. (A)

Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero had a near-classic match, ending in 17:43 after Benoit pinned Guerrero following a diving headbutt. (A)

We then had another challenge, where Steve Austin challenged HHH to a last man standing Match for the Armageddon PPV, but HHH did not reply, drawing Stone Cold's hire, who took it out on Jonathan Coachman. (B+)

In the Main event, Chris Jericho, Kane and The Undertaker defeated Triple H and the Dudleys in 15:47 after Jericho made Bubba Ray Dudley tap out to the Walls of Jericho. (B-)

Final Rating: B

Our road agents tell us this show may have affected us in a negative way regarding fan popularity. Hopefully we can rebound with a strong Smackdown show.

Here is a quick rundown of my developmental system. We have 3 developmental territories, which is probably 1 too many, maybe even 2 too many, but it is what it is.

Our developmental wrestlers in OVW are:

Randy Orton
The Prototype (John Cena)
Brock Lesnar
Doug Basham
Leviathan (Batista)
Mark Henry
Nick Dinsmore (Eugene)
Queen Victoria
Redd Dogg (Rodney Mack)
Rico Constantino
Rob Conway
Ron Waterman
Shelton Benjamin

In Heartland Wrestling Association, we have the following future superstars:
Charlie Haas
Russ Haas

In Memphis Championship Wrestling we have:
Bobcat
Beth Phoenix
Steve Bradley

Of our developmental wrestlers, Nick Dinsmore is probably the most ready from an in-ring standpoint, but entertainment wise, he lacks certain things necessary for success. A manager could help somewhat tho.

The Haas brothers could get called up as a tag team soon, but some in-ring seasoning will help them. Conway and Basham are another pair who could be up soon.

Orton and Lesnar are ahead of Batista and Cena on the road to the WWF, but all are top-notch future prospects.
