To bad it won't be on the PC....according to EA NCAA will not be returning to the PC anytime soon.

Operation Sports: When will PC users be able to draft from our own NCAA game?

Jeremy Strauser: Sorry, we don’t have plans for an NCAA PC game right now

NCAA.... Madden... NCAA.... Madden...

I'm restricting myself to choosing only one this year and this has to be the toughest decision in my life. Honestly.

If this truely is your "toughest decision in my life. Honestly. ", I wish I had your life.

I think it is safe to say the Vulcan is anti-EA.

I don't look at it like that. I look at it as two $50 purchases.

Ah, but alas, will they be able to fix the "catch everything on the fly route" issue. I really wish Madden and NCAA would beef up their realism.

I will definitely be buying NCAA 2004. I have a gift certificate to Electronics Boutique that I got for my birthday in March that I have been saving for this particular purchase. The 2003 version is one of my favorite games of all time.

Just opened an email from EA that had a $15 coupon in it towards any game. I went against my 'wait and see' rule and purchased NCAA 2004 for the ps2. NCAA 2003 has been played more than any other ps2 game I have or have had. Keeping the 'core' of the game intact, while adding major immersion material... I psyched!

We'll see just how much better/worse I am than Pinkel is this year and beyond.

I'm sure I'll get Madden 2004 as well, because I love seeing my college players end up in a Rams uniform... but I'm waiting for NFL 2k4 (or ESPN Football) feedback first.

Man, can't wait! Just all the added features and gameplay tweaks they added just make it get even better. Philliesfan, I am lost trying to think of a football game that is more realistic than NCAA or Madden.? Sure they could make it more realistic, but damn right now it's still pretty realistic.

Question for you - how would you rate the job Pinkel has done so far?

Assuming Neuheisel gets the boot from Washington, Pinkel's name is going to be flying around as a potential replacement. I would expect that he'd stay put at Missouri at this point in the offseason, but given the out-clause in his contract for Washington he might be a possibility after this season is over, depending on how the current UW coach fares.

I might get it, but I really didn't get settled in with last year's enough and unlike a pro game I don't think a college game is worth buying every year, unless a great new feature is added.

As for Madden, I'll probably get it, but not right away.

I really was hoping for NCAA to be revamped this year because the series is a little weak, but I know Ill buy it anyway

I know, and it scares me. My heart tells me he'll stay here for quite some time, but in sports who knows? He's really recruited heavily in Missouri, and that is a good thing. It was nice to see some good players choose Missouri instead of Illinios or leaving to go somewhere else. He's far from 'his' team, but he's improving every year and just hearing him talk, makes me appreciate what he's doing with this program. I like him already.

I read a pretty good article about Pinkel somewhere. It really gave me something to think about rather than just a name and face.

I hope Pinkel stays in Mizzou, but just in case, Todd and I will have to catch a game this year

As for NCAA, I'm fairly certain, with fingers crossed, that my wife has pre-ordered it and is having it sent directly to the ship. That said, I'll be lucky if I receive my copy two or three weeks after all you punks have played it!

I have pre-ordered my copy to be sent to the UK by FEDEX.
Should get it by the 19th July

NCAA football 2003 is the reason I have a chipped Xbox.

I can't wait until I get my copy.

I really hope they have the accelerated clock feature like Madden 2004, but I haven't read it anywhere.

Anyone know if folks are doing rosters for the X-Box like they do for the PS2?

Just curious, I'm thinking about getting an X-Box mostly for Knights of the Old Republic/Fable, but I figure if I'm going to do it, might as well switch over the football games. And no, I don't care about online play.

Also, I'm assuming the X-Box has a USB adaptor of some sorts so I can download stuff from computer and transfer?

Brings up another question I had actually, I see that Action Replay has a USB transfer device out for the PS2 now, does this thing work ANY better than the pile of crap Gameshark one that I can get to work 1 in 50 times?

I'd have to get an XBox or a PS2 first if I wanted to get this game (and so far, I do...)

No. The way this is handled on the Xbox is through Xbox Live. If a game is supported with additional content like this it will be something you'll have to download through a Live connection.

I'm not sure that the retail Xbox OS supports the ability to interface directly with Windows.

Thanks for the heads up on that. Finally! Now I have to buy it and NCAA 2004. I may have to sell a kidney.

I have action replay and you use it by downloading saves via your PC.

If you are after rosters you should go to http://www.football-gaming.com/

They did the Xbox rosters for 2003 and I expect that they will do the 2004 ones as well.

I'm off to check this one out, thanks! Maybe I won't have to send my memory card to someone again this year.

Sweet, if you pick one up, let us know how it works. I'd be interested in buying one if it works better than the Sharkport(i.e. at all).

Since they have it for the X-Box, and folks are doing rosters, it looks like the day NCAA 2004 comes out, I'll be the owner of an X-Box also.
