Take little shame in this distinction Phillies fans. You've had the luxury of playing 125 years of baseball and even getting 1 whole championship! Before the 22nd century, I'm sure the Phillies will get another!

Didn't the Cubs just break the 10000 loss barrier a week or so ago? I thought I heard that they were the first to do so. Or was it the Phillies, and I just misheard?

Phillies did it last night. Braves are next on the list. Not sure where the Cubs are, but they're probably close simply because of how old the franchise is.

Then I think the Cubs are already there. Cause I remember a week or so back hearing a story about it and the fact that they have lost more games than any other sports franchise.

Looks like it will be like 4 more years for the braves, a couple more than that for the Cubs. |

Yeah, Phillies are the first franchise in any sport to lose 10k (although obviously baseball will always stand out above the others because of the number of games).
