NFL2K4 is no more...
Sega is changing it's name and releasing it one month after madden... Check it out....
http://www.football-gaming.com/modul...ticle&sid=1832 Should have named it "ESPN presents NFL2K4"

Name change shouldn't make a difference. The game will have to improve a bit from last year to even have me consider buying it. I think having come out a month after Madden is really bad, though. They need to come out ahead of the big competition, not behind. |

Wow. Coming out a month after Madden cannot be good for their sales prospects.

It didn't make any difference last year apparently.

I wonder if people are going to associate the shitty "NFL Primetime" games with the new game.

Maybe they should call in Maddden 2004 and hope for some poor spellers.

Better, they could name it "Girls Gone Wild" and easily outsell Madden. |

Or Maddden 2005. Poor spellers will think it's the newest version!

They could just sell boxes called "Don't Buy Me I'm Crap." It'd sell about the same

Maybe they could throw in a free Dreamcast with every game.
Nah, that wouldn't sell either. |

I bet if they threw in a 32x or a Sega CD it would fly off the shelf. Maybe if they included Night Trap as well.

I dont care what folks say its gonna be crap . I do feel pity for the poor guy who's been hiding under a rock for 7 years and still thinks that Genesis is on top of the gaming world and that Saturn will last until the Second Coming.

I feel sorry for the folks who don't realize the Dreamcast is STILL the greatest console around.

I actually liked 2K3 better than Madden 2K3. (Have both) The colors were brighter and I found the running game 150% more realistic. (yes, the 50% was added for emphasis)

I thought that NFL 2k3 was alot better in many other things besides just the running game. Passing game was nice, and heavly influenced on timing, just like real football. I just checked the EB.COM and Gamestop.com websites, and they both still say that the game will be coming out Aug 1. |

It's pretty easy to handle it on the PS2, it was crap on the Dreamcast because I couldn't handle the damn controller.
