Early favorites for the 2003-04 Golden Scribes?
Hey guys. We're almost halfway through 2003, so I just thought it might be fun to get people's thoughts on who might be the early favorites at this year's 2nd Annual Golden Scribes. Any thoughts?

Well, the FOFC Brigade dynasty ought to have a very good shot if it ever starts up again (hint, hint).

I think Dataking's Screamin Seaman would stand a good shot in what I presume would be the new Hattrick category.

Screamin' Seamen should walk away with the Hattrick category. I'm not so sure about X-Com, though. It hasn't really been doing much this year, and it already has a load of Golden Scribes from last year.

Yeah, I think we will have to introduce a hattrick category. Too bad I am threadjudiced against hattrick. There are probably some good dynasties that I'm missing.

Crawfish is THE Hattrick dynasty, and I hate hattrick.

I think people like the fresh way I approach Hattrick and I break it down in a simple way most people can understand. I try to make my dynasty not just about soccer, but about a love a man could have for a dog who loves peanut butter. This is a joke for those who don't know, because my dynasty has basically nothing to do with hattrick and tons to do with Hornsmaniac_2 and his excellent methods of teaching playmaking! Oh yeah, I sent the check Marmel, you should get it in 3 days.

You can keep the check. Send the dog......and the peanut butter.
In a game of OOTP5, I had a CF named Chavez. I assigned the nickname "Dope Dog" to him.

Chavez "the dope finding" Dog is on his way with a can of Jif. Just becareful, he likes to nibble some. BTW, make sure to trim up some, he isn't fond of hair for some odd reason.

We might change the FOF category to a generalized pro football category, and TCY would go into a college football category. |
