*blinkblink*
So I'm using the most up-to-date iTunes, and I'm using my 3G 20 GB iPod with it.
Trying to remove some voice memos that I put on there when I was involved with sportswriting for the local CC newspaper, and having a booger of a time accessing the core file list rather than just the playlists (anybody know how to do that with the latest iTunes, btw?). When I discover "Transfer purchases." I click it, wondering what it'll do...and it copied all of the purchased music on my iPod onto my hard drive. Doesn't do anything for stuff I've previously ripped from other computers and the like, but wow. Stuff I had bought off iTunes, backed up to CD and then lost the CD for, I was just able to recover without having to purchase any extra programs or anything like that. How long has *that* been the case? |

Dola,
Found out how to get rid of the memos. That "music" link should have been more obvious to me. So I guess you can strike the "help" and just leave the "how long have I been under a rock?" |

I dunno, but how the bloody hell did you get out from under there?
Ok, next time, bigger rock. I promise.

I think transfer purchases came along with iTunes 7.
