We really haven't been hit yet, but no matter what I would have to be at work anyways. It's supposed to start sleeting/snowing sometime this morning and last until around 6pm, so my drive home at 4pm could be ugly...

I think the world is turning upside down. Vancouver, which rarely gets any snow has been pounded yet Ontario, where I am, is basking in 15 celsius (about 55 f?) temperatures.

UCO is also closed today (Yippee!). I'm hoping they close tomorrow's classes so I can work a little more on my paper that's due.

KU doesn't close for snow at all- in all the years I've lived here, they've had some half days but never closed. Ice, on the other hand, has led to 3 closed days that I can remember. That's what happens when you have a hilly campus and busses are the best way to get around...

Yeah, I think the main concern was actually ice...it stayed sleet and freezing rain that was sticking from about 7:00 until the cancelled classes at 11 last night. Either way, not complaining about missing a quiz.

Listening to the radio this morning, Albuquerque is just one big sheet of ice.

It hit damn near 60 degrees in southwestern Pennsylvania today. The fun ends tomorrow night when the snow hits us, though.

We got snow here! The roads don't seem too bad as of right now...at least as you're not on a bridge or overpass.
