anyone know what this log file is?
This folder showed up on my c drive this morning. It was around the time windows did an auto update (7:00 am). I usually have it on "notify me", so I can pick and choose, but someone must have thought they were fixing something using Norton and turned on the full auto update.
file name: msxml4-KB927978-enu.log location: C:\57eb6c4c3817ac5519e3de4a93d436a8 Something MS left behind? |

dola
googled the name and only came up with a German message board. From what I could decipher it might have something to do with IE7? Not sure but it appears to at least be from MS. |

Whew...I had that too and I was getting curious (although not enough to google it or ask here).

I noticed the same thing today at work. I also noticed the "last modified" time on my IE folder was from the same time, and figured it was something from the automatic update. Glad to see it's not something to worry about.
