Siskel and Ebert Behind the Scenes

I don't know why, but I found this clip fascinating. It's the two of them filming promos and talking shit about each other and other stuff.

That was funny... although for a moment I thought Siskel was criticizing "wops" in the last of the 3 clips. He really does mumble.

I liked it too. Takes a while to get past them just being pissy though.

Ebert has been off the show the last few months because recurring cancer again.

He underwent surgery Friday, June 16, 2006, just two days shy of his 64th birthday, to remove cancer near his right jaw, including a section of jaw bone.

On July 1, Ebert was hospitalized in serious condition after an artery burst near the surgery site; he later discovered that the burst was likely a side-effect of his radiation treatment, treatments utilizing neutron beam radiation. He has told his fans that it is a search for ways to prevent future arterial bursts that has kept him bed-ridden

Ebert filmed enough TV programs with his co-host, Richard Roeper, to keep him on the air for several weeks. However, his extended convalescence has necessitated a series of "guest critics" to co-host with Roeper, including Jay Leno (a good friend to both Ebert and Roeper), Kevin Smith, John Ridley, Toni Senecal, and Aisha Tyler.

As of August 17, it is uncertain when Ebert will return to the "movie beat"
