Heading to Philadelphia (actually King of Prussia area) to see old friends this weekend. Saturday we plan on heading to AC and I’m wondering where the best poker room is. I heard the Borgata is nice but it’s off the boardwalk. We would like to get into a multi-table tournament together. Anybody have any input on AC poker rooms?

~thanks

Really like the Tropicana room. Play is pretty loose and they have daily multi-table tourneys that get pretty full.

I'll second the Trop. I also like the Borgata (and have a lot of friends working there.) The Borgata is the "nicest" of the AC casinos.

OK, I play in AC alot. By far the best room IMO is the Taj Mahal. Lots of tables, different games and spread limits.

Showboat has a nice new room as well with alot of easy money.

Here is a link to the Taj's poker tournament schedule.

if you are going to play in a multi table tournament make sure you get there early because you will have to get a casino card for whatever casino you are at.

the taj also has sit and go tournaments as well, I believe they are 50+15.

I hope this helps, PM me if you need more info.

Thanks for the info guys!! I'm looking forward to the trip - although NJ/PA is supposed to get hit hard with rain this weekend.

The Taj has a nice one. Hilton has a new one, haven't been to see how it is though.
