The FOFC All-Time NFL Team (Poll 1 - The 1990's, Round 5)
Because this place has a lot of football fans, I thought it would be a good chance to solve the argument of which team is the greatest in NFL history. I'll have a poll for the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 1990's and 2000's. I will only include teams after the AFL/NFL merger and after we have selected a top Superbowl winning team for each decade, there will be a final round with each decade's winners competing against each other. (I may include the runner-ups in the 70's, 80's and 90's in the final poll because the 60's and 00's have less choices.)
First up, Poll 1 - The 1990's! (Future Polls: 2 - The 1960's, 3 - The 1980's, 4 - The 1970's, 5 - The 00's) Pick the team you think least deserves to be on this list and eventually we'll end up with what you consider the best Superbowl team of the 1990's. PREVIOUS RESULTS: Round 1 - Voted Off 1995 Dallas Cowboys with 23.81% of vote (2nd place 1990 N.Y.Giants and 1999 St.Louis Rams with 16.67% of vote) Round 2 - Voted off 1999 St. Louis Rams with 33.33% of vote (2nd place 1990 N.Y. Giants with 25.64% of vote) Round 3 - Voted off 1990 New York Giants with 39.29% of vote (2nd place 1997 Denver Broncos with 28.57% of vote) Round 4 - Voted off 1997 Denver Broncos with 35.29% of vote (2nd place 1991 Washington Redskins with 23.53% of vote) Because the choices are narrowing, I've provided some stats in subsequent threads to refresh your memory.

1993 Dallas Cowboys, not only did they have the worst record, but they are the Cowboys, so you have to vote them off...

Sometimes I wonder if not for Michael Irvin's injury in the playoffs, if the Cowboys would have won a fourth Superbowl in the 90's. They were a diminished team in 1996 but they still had the Packers number and if Irvin had stayed healthy, the Cowboys would have beaten the Panthers and probably given the Pack a run for their money. I've got to pick the 1996 Packers. The Broncos proved they could beat them. The Packers had to wait for retirement, free agency and injuries before they could beat the 90's Cowboys and Niners. And what can I say, it was just Washington's year in 1991.

Cowboys are in the running now to be voted off. Oh well, I guess it's not easy to keep two of your teams on the list even though both of them could probably wipe the floor with any of the Superbowl champions of that decade. It will be interesting to see how the 70's Steelers and 80's 49ers vote turn out.
