The "Price" is right!

Mike Price still has not signed his contract, and may not be allowed to. Linky

The Romours? Price was at a golf tourney in Florida when he was seen leaving a bar with a young lady. It seems that young lady, a woman who is a lady of the evening so to speak, ended up with his Alabama charge card and preceded to make a couple of charges on it. He flew the Alabama jet down to this Tourney, and was charging all (and I do mean all) of his expenses on that card. He might not make it to the first game as head coach!

And, what will that do to Alabama if they have to search again? I think they will do everything they can to sweep this under the rug.

What have we learned this week children?

We have learned that NCAA coaches are womanizing party animals.

So, one of the radio schlocks with some Alabama connections says he is as good as gone. Of course, you should never trust radio personality.

I hear Steve Lavin's still available. And before you say, "Hey, wait, he doesn't know anything about football!", I'll remind you that not knowing a sport didn't stop him from coaching UCLA basketball for 7 years either.

I still say he's holding out for that Clipper job, but hey, the hair grease might be cheaper down 'Bama way!

Unbelievable.

Lost in the mess is why would you go to work for an employer for FOUR months before you put your signiture on a dotted line?

I'm all for honor, keeping your word, sealing things with a handshake, etc. . . but to be working without an official contract for this long? You gotta be kidding me.

Excellent Point.. Has Price been receiving a Paycheck over these past few months from the UofA? And what is he thinking, not signing the contract? You never know what's going to happen day to day, the least you can do is get that bad boy signed in case something happens to you or you do something stupid (which seems to have been the case here.)
