CM4 question........
Whats the difference between the U19 Squad and the Reserve squad???
Should i put all my back-up under 19 years old players on the U19 squad or should i put the better ones on the reserve squad??

U19 would be for your young players that need extra time to develop. Reserves would be more for your backups. You might have some U19s on the reserve squad that are more advanced than most young players though (Adu, for example..though I doubt he'll stay there long)

The difference between the U19's and reserve squad is simply the level at which the team players - U19's will only play other U19 teams (who's players have to be of the right age obviously) - however the reserves can contain players of any age.
Generally undeveloped youngsters stay in the U19's while promising prospects are placed in the reserves to get a 'taste' of big match action with slightly more experienced players ilrl. Hope this helps, Marc |

I put my reserves under the control of my assistant and he tends to play my best U19s in both U19 and reserve team matches.

On a similar note (but not to threadjack), both my Reserve and U19 team are only "grey players" as I'm running a poor Conference team.
Some of them look good attributes-wise. Will any of them eventually become useable in my first squad? |
