[GEFL Trouble] Using with a new computer
Today I finally got FOF on my laptop here at school. I am the Bengals in VPI/sov's GEFL, and I followed the steps as directed to get back in the game, yet when I load my multiplayer league it will only let me be commish, it says "No multiplayer games available" when I click Participant. What am I doing wrong??? Offseason is starting and I need to fix this asap.

I believe you need to start a new mp career first with the right league ID and team #. |

you need to click enter new career on the MP menu instead of starting a new game, which it sounds like you did

Yeah, all the steps are there as posted by Kodos. Did you enter in the right league ID?

Step-by-step what I did.
1- Clicked Multiplayer Controls 2- Enter new career 3- LeagueID - GEFL0001 (Bengals) Begin Without draft 4- Says send file GEEFL0001.06Q to VPI. I did that when I first joined, so I figure I don't need to here. In the instructions from Kodos here, it gets a little hazy. " 12. Delete the file the "Q" file it tells you to send to your commish " The multiple the's are messing with me. First I tried deleting the whole file, then after that didn't work I deleted the Q at the end of the file to make it look like the one I normally send to VPI (GEFL0001.06) After that, I should be able to click MP, load the league and be back on track. But all I am able to do is enter via Commisioner...ugh. Last edited by korme : 10-18-2005 at 09:59 PM. |

I don't remember ever having to delete a Q file. I remember once I recreated the league, I just imported the most recent league files into the 'leagues' directory and redid the city files, I was good to go. Last edited by Dutch : 10-18-2005 at 10:28 PM. |

You have placed the contents of the lastest league file in the leagues folder, right?
