Computer Technical Help

I was messing around on my girlfriend's computer trying to clean it up for her. She had a ton of spyware and programs that she did not need anymore. I deleted the Dell Media (she has a Dell) and the Dell drivers. I figured it would not make a difference. Well, now her games will not load anymore. I updated her Video card but it still does not work. Does anyone have suggestions as to what could be wrong?

I do not think the problem is with the Dell software. Why would that affect a game? It does not make any sense.

Something in one of those drivers is needed. They can be found on the Dell site at times.

The problem is with DirectSound. I have install the DirectX 9.0c and updated all the sound devices. I am still getting errors.

If she had tons of spyware, I would save data, wipe the drive, and reinstall the OS. You can go to Dell's website, input your service tag, and then it will list every driver for that particular system.

I figured it out. I deleted a program cound SoundMax that was for some reason, needed to run the sound. I am cleaning all of her spyware up. I have become sort of an expert at it.
