Irk #1 - Mark Prior incident.

Irk #2 - I absolutely hate it that the cpu teams only release and sign players once a week (Monday). The 'transaction news' page is only worthwhile on Monday's. If a decent player is released on Monday and another team needs them, you have 6 days to pick up that player, which creates a huge advantage to the user, imo.

Isn't there a way the game could do the 'Monday' AI moves, every day of the week? Seems like I'm getting 'extra time' to pick up released players.


Other than that, it's been a blast playing every game as manager of the Brewers (simmed 2003 and they won a league low 47 games, figured I would take that challenge on). After signing Kevin Millwood to my one and only big deal in 2004, I'm off to an 8-7 record. It's taking me some time to plug unfamilar players into roles that will help the team. I've unloaded some high priced players for youth and for now, it seems to be slowly coming along. It's unreal how much in-depth baseball is compared to a football or hockey sim. I spend so much time checking statistics, I forget I need to get some games in.
