PUNCH OUT! Live

This is a stage version of the old game Punch Out. A little long to load, and I wasn't sure it was worth it, but I got some laughs out of it.

reminds me of my friends who did a Punch Out segment on our high school's tv show on the public school channel. They would cut from game footage to "live shots", and they filmed from a moving car on the biking scene. The best part was that they had to play the game out to get the game footage, and had to take as long as it took to beat Tyson.

Tyson was hard as hell if I remember correctly.

I think I spent every lunch hour for like 3 months fighting Tyson before I finally beat that SOB.

I didn't ever beat him until years later. Tyson was tough as hell.

One of the best challenges in video game history.

I'm glad this wasn't one of those YTMND "N*gga stole my bike" parodies, but Little Mac not wearing a pink sweatsuit = teh suck.

I've beat Tyson before, but I had never beat Macho Man until a few weeks ago.

interesting. I never had a hard time beating Mach Man, but had a very hard time fighting Sandman (the guy before him). And as stated earlier, Tyson was nearly impossible.

Beating that game was the pinnacle of my old school gaming career pre pc. The only game I can play today with any proficiency is Galaga. I doubt I could beat Glass Joe at this point.

This was my experience as well, didn't beat Sandman until years later on a ROM.

I'd only fought Tyson a few times and I actually managed to take a fight three rounds but lost on decision. I think I even knocked him down once, just couldn't finish him. If you can survive that first-round assault, you had a chance, though.
