I was wondering if anyone has bought this game yet ?
Is the gameplay good and well is it better than the rest of the series ?

I gave up on the series after Land Warrior when I finally realized they were never going to improve the A.I.

From what I hear it has some decent moments, but still the same problems the series has always had.

Honestly, I'd recommend picking up Vietcong if you're looking for that type of game.

Doest VIETCONG have those ''desperate moments'' where your position is being overun and you have to desperately defend it .
Personally I like Op Flashpoint ...a little dated but very realistic .

Oh yeah, Op Flash is the best of the best, I agree.

VC has great moments like that. The firefights "feel" better than OpFlash, and there's some real tension. The AI is pretty good, moreso for the enemy than the squadmates, as they do a pretty good covering each other,and they try to flank you.

The game DOES have issues though, there's thread here somewhere about it where I talked a little more about it, should be able to find that. Overall I think it's a lot of fun though, definitely better than any of the DF series.

I guess it depends, but you saying that you liked OpFlash, I'm guessing VC is more your type, it's got more that feel, whereas BHD is more of a Lone Wolf(Rambo) style game.

Yes, got it.

Its better than the previous versions, but still not as good as I had hoped.

The missions are relatively easy, and there is too much being shot by people whom you can't see. Also some of the missions end when NPCs get killed when this is outside your control.

I do like the room takedown feature, thats a definite plus.
