PC. I've never had a reason to switch to mac. I still play too many games. The price of a good mac system is prohibitive for a person of my age.

...why is this not a poll?

I was a devoted Mac user for 10 years, from 1985-1995. It was about 1996 that I got into other computer-based hobbies and much more into gaming that I had to get off of the Mac completely. Up until then, I was very content in playing all of those MicroProse, Maxis and Accolade games on the Mac.

PC, easily. I tried a mac, didn't like so much to pay such a premium on a computer (and, I actually like the Windows interface better than Mac OSX).

Diehard Mac-freaks are scarier than the black death and current-day Birgette Nielsen combined.

Both. Do 75% of my work on a Mac, 25% on a PC. 100% of gaming is on the PC.

For people who are into graphic design, motion graphics, and/or audio editing, there are a number of people who prefer to be on the Macintosh because it is believed that it is much more stable and less of a hassle to configure than thef PCs. Other advantages are that people are less likely to create viruses for this OS and it is much more easier to learn for a person who is new to computers.

With all that said, I am still a PC user, because more products are made for this system, I can upgrade the system to the way I want it and Windows XP/2000 is a much more stable OS than the ones they have had in the past.

I agree with everything stated but Apple products just look cool. If a manifacturer could rival Apple's industrial design, that would probably tap into some of Apple's market share.

PC, although being a computer guy (and the nagging of my friends) I really want to get into Mac's, just because I have heard something good things about them.
