Wisconsin-Auburn
Barry Alvarez's last game as a head coach.
Badgers up 7-0 in the 1st. If Jim Sorgi and Brooks Bollinger can make NFL rosters, John Stocco might well be in the Pro Bowl someday. |

By the way, Brian Calhoun is as fun to watch as Reggie Bush. Unless you root agains Wisconsin, then he's no fun at all.

No way Auburn can lose. They are, according to ESPN, the best team in the SEC.

WOO! Calhoun touchdown from 30 some yards out! That helps bit time as it looked like Auburn was going to come back. 24-10 now!

Just found out my brother-in-law is at this game. He got free tickets. Of course, he's an Auburn fan so he might think "free" was to much now.
(BTW, I'm willing to take free Sugar Bowl tickets if anyone has some. ). |

Classy move by Wisconsin... though it is sad that taking a knee at the 1 yard line when up by 14 is considered classy these days, but there you go.

I am shocked how well they played. Where was this team against Iowa?

You won't find a classier guy than Barry Alvarez. I would guess that among D1 head coaches, nobody is as beloved by their fan base. |

Yeah, it really is hard to dislike Alvarez. He is the type of coach that every school would love to have.

Barry Alvarez was 8-3 in bowl games. 3-0 vs UCLA.
So long Barry |

I just hope Bret isn't as conservative a play-caller. I need to stop breaking things!
