No problem guys. This thread got me interested again and made me pull the trigger to start playing JavaBB. If any of you is ever interested in a non-tourny game when I'm online, well, I might be interested. :)

I bought another Flesh Golem brining my team to 16 players. I'm thinking of retiring my niggling injury no SPP Zombie. After all, I can raise a better one with a kill and I still have 15 players if I do.

BTW, MIJB, a niggling injury means that player has to roll a d6 before the start of every game from now on, on a roll of 1, the injury has flared up and he must miss the game

It was a learning event for me. I would have lived with a 3-0, 3-1 loss, but no such luck. The Orc gods will be pissed...

i can't even get the game working. I have the latest version of java on my computer and BB 8.5 is installed.

When i try to start the game 2 windows pop up, the smaller window says java BBowl set-up, but the window is all grey and it just stays like that. Very wierd, guess im screwed.

Kinda wierd though considering my computer is about 1 1/2 weeks old. Figured i could run anything without a problem/

it appears to be my java program thats the problem. When i go into my control panel and try to bring up my java controls it doesn't even load up.

I've a 132 rating, but just a 95 strength with all of my injuries keeping players out. I've also got Chaos Dwarves and Necro.

Righto, turns out that running with the -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true switch wasnt the solution, got in this morning to discover that i had the problem back again after it was working last night. Spent a while trying to get java to run nicely but to no avail, then purely by accident ive stumbled on the solution. If you get the grey window problem check your anti aliasing settings in your graphics card control panel and make sure its set to "application decides", this then appears to have solved my problem!.

Seams that there is a problem between ATi graphics cards and java (or ATi graphics cards drivers and java).

Oh well, hope that either a driver update or an update to java will eventually sort out this little problem.

to join go to your coach screen that lists all of your teams(Overview button), and click the Play to the right of your team. Then type FOFCNL in the 'Proxy Server' field, and click join as client. post here if you have any questions.

Glengoyne, his teams aren't in the league, so your wood elves/humans can't play them.

I'd offer to play, but I don't have any rookie teams at the moment.

I don't think you can, while the season's running. Wait til the next tournament starts up.

Of course, anyone who has a relatively inexperienced non-league team can play you; I was just reminding Glengoyne not to use his league teams.

Hmmm. You have to use a username and password. I think it is the same ones you use when you log into FUMBBL. Take a look at the FAQ on FUMBBL. I look as well.
