If there's still room for the final tournament, I'm willing to throw in my rookie Orc team. Although, I must say, I haven't played much with Orcs lately, I'm getting experienced with Goblins in the ranked division. Even so that in a test match between my ranked Goblins and Orcs, the Goblins won 2-0. :D

I think the bigger question will be whether I'll be able to get online during others' playing time hours. :D

Im trying to get into the FOFC league thing you guys got, but i think i gotta wait until that one is over.

You should make more ranked teams, (no offense to the FOFC guys) but there is ALOT better competion out there. Hell i've played guys with 600 games under their belt. And you can find a game whenever you want :)

I created a proxy game, name is smashmouth.

No, you can enter a team in the knockout stages of our league if you want. It's just that you'd have to enter a TR100 team and most of the top teams would annihilate that.

Incidentally, are we sure that getting a bye through the first round is actually beneficial for the top seeds? I think my lot are going to be one of the top two (leading both total points and points per game) and given a choice between playing a beginning team & picking up more cash and SPPs and getting a bye, I'm not sure I wouldn't rather have the extra game even with the risk of losing.

The problem (and indirectly, the reason that FOFCBB is Unranked, is that Ranked teams can't play games outside of a fourty TS difference either way. And it'd be unfair for a 175 team that's super good to get to beat up a new bie team

Er, is that last directed at the reason Ranked has its TS restriction (which I completely agree with) or at my question? If it's aimed at me, then I think you're exaggerating a bit - there aren't any 175 super teams out there, and the difference between the first & fourth seed isn't really all that big in terms of TR - but I can sort of see the logic.

woot, I got my first victory today, as a newly created academy team I have won its opening match. Great learning experience. I cannot wait to start the knockout phase.

I'll get it started tonight, thought we'd have more folks for the finals then we did.

I'm still playing 1-2 games a day, still only played an FOFC'er once though :)

I'm here. Finals coming up, so I won't be able to play as often as before, but I should still have some free time.

I still play about 2 or 3 games per week and should be able to participate in a tournament.

I bought the board game awhile back and never tried it, but I'd definitely be interested in playing, so if anyone wants to play with a newbie (whether it's a league or just for fun) let me know.
