New Features Added to KingJavo's All-Pro Football 2K8 Editing Software

Last week, programmer KingJavo updated the resources page of his website simheads.com with new editing software for All-Pro Football 2K8, NFL Fever 2004, NFL 2K4 and Backbreaker. The All-Pro Football 2K8 editor costs $10 to download, while the other three PC programs can be purchased for $5 each. You'll also need to be a registered member of simheads.com to access its resources page (registration is free).

Some of the new features include:

-Changing coaches' names and appearances

-Changing CPU teams' playbooks

-Editing players' nicknames (like Dick "Night Train" Lane and William "Refrigerator" Perry)

-Sorting players with KingJavo's new "overall rating" to reveal the most talented players within each tier (bronze, silver, gold)

-A "star counter" that shows how many tiered players (bronze, silver, gold) are on each team (any number below 9 or above 11 will freeze the game)

-Copying and pasting players in the editor to make "trades" from one team to another

-Video previews for all the selectable throwing, running and play-action animations

-Rewriting the team-specific text that appears after a season concludes

-Several missing NFL teams' city names have been added to the database

Video tutorials for the All-Pro Football 2K8 editor are available on KingJavo's YouTube channel.

It's sad that I would rather play this game right now than Madden 16....

Is there a way to play this on Mac?

just popped APF2k8 and NFL2k5 back into my consoles. Both games are so refreshing and well done. My first game with 2k5 had noticeable penalties that were called. especially DPI, its refreshing just to see the refs call the penalties on these things.

IIll have to look at the video on this editor to see if Ill purchase it for APF2k8. if its easy to use Ill purchase it.
at this point in time all I care about are the teams names and player names. the high profile players Ill care more for the things like skin color, college etc.

so I may get this

Agree completely. I am spoiled by sports games now - no career play is a deal-breaker for me.

The editor doesn't work on Mac OS, so you'd have to install Windows onto your Mac computer and boot it up from inside Windows.

The current 1.2 editor only works with Xbox 360 roster files.

The previous 1.1 editor works with both PS3 and Xbox 360 roster files.

Season mode only lets you take control of one team.

But you can use any team you want in the online/offline exhibition modes.

let me rephrase.
I take control of one team, but if I play a season mode will I only play against the default legends rosters, or will my schedule consist of all the NFL teams that I edited.

When you're editing teams you're basically writing over the existing teams in the game, so they will no longer exist.

You can play against a full league of created teams if you want to.

Your best bet would be to contact KingJavo on his forums or on Twitter if you need an older version of the editor.
