Madden NFL 16: The Top Five Stadiums

One reason I enjoy playing Madden is that I get to see all the different venues the game has to offer, and the individuality each location brings to the table. Although these stadiums are not quite as impressive as those found in Sony's MLB: The Show franchise, EA does an admirable job bringing these stadiums to life. With that in mind, I wanted to take a look at my five favorite stadiums in Madden 16, and why I enjoy them.

CenturyLink Field

Opening in 2002 under the original name of Seahawks Stadium, CenturyLink Field is one of the more unique stadiums in the NFL. What I love about it in Madden is the unique sightlines, the city skyline in the backdrop and the amazing atmosphere. It’s not easy taking a team into CenturyLink Field, but it’s always exciting.

Lucas Oil Stadium

Home to the Indianapolis Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium replaced the RCA Dome in 2008 and has become a fan favorite in real life. With huge glass windows in the end zone and a retractable roof, Lucas Oil Stadium can take on many different looks based on the time year, time of day and weather. The design is modern and inviting, and in Madden 16 the stadium looks absolutely gorgeous.

AT&T Stadium

Whether you love the Cowboys or hate them, most still appreciate what Jerry Jones has built for them in Arlington. Seating up to 105,000 fans with standing room included, and sporting one of the world’s largest video boards, AT&T Stadium is a blast to play at in Madden 16. The sheer size is so well captured and reproduced by the developers that one can get lost just looking around and admiring the place during the game.

Lambeau Field

As a Bears fan it pains me to list this stadium, but I do my best to put any bias aside when writing an article. If I am being truly honest, it does not get much better than a night game late in the season in Green Bay, and Madden 16 has captured that feeling -- minus the cold. Even while playing a game, you can feel the history and tradition that Lambeau exudes, and that’s why it’s one of my top five stadiums to play at in Madden 16.

U.S. Bank Stadium

Some Madden 16 players may not even know this stadium exists yet in the game, but it surely does. The future home of the Minnesota Vikings is playable in Play Now games, or in your second year of CFM if that’s the route you go. The architecture and design is amazing and unique, with a transparent roof and windows that allow some amazing views while in-game. If you haven’t played there yet in Madden 16, make sure to do just that the next time you fire up the game.

So those are my five favorite stadiums to play at in Madden 16. This list was not easy to compile by any means as there are so many awesome structures in the game. There were many more that easily could have made this list, but these are my favorites.

What are your favorite stadiums to play at in Madden 16?

100% agree. Also, I've said it for years, but they should stop having the cameras swivel around so much between plays and have them static. This would showcase the stadium graphics & lighting a bit more.

Totally agreed man. Sure it was a "dump" but there were a lot of great memories created in that stadium. I never got to see a 49ers game but I went to plenty of Giants games and The Stick always felt special. EA already has the model, hopefully they can bring it back someday.

As for my Top Five stadiums:

* AT&T
* Heinz
* Lambeau
