Players On The Rise
The youth movement got some nice upgrades this week. Miguel Sano, Rusney Castillo and Francisco Lindor all went from Bronze to Silver -- Kyle Schwarber got a boost as well but remained a Bronze. A couple pitchers reclaimed some of their former luster with Kris Medlen and Justin Verlander getting boosts.
Mike Fiers got his no-hitter ratings bump one week later, much like Iwakuma had gotten following his no-hitter (presumably Arrieta gets one next week as well). In terms of established stars, Cespedes built on his Gold status and Greinke built on his Diamond status.

Players On The Decline
Hanley Ramirez is the big loser this week as he went from Gold to Silver and lost a lot of his appeal even against left-handed pitching. This also probably lowers his price on the marketplace, which was another reason he was retaining a lot of value.
Max Scherzer was the biggest name to get a downgrade this week as he’s been scuffling. Daniel Murphy received a big downgrade, but it was via a position change rather than a ratings dip -- it just stands out as Murphy is hitting the ball well as of late. Overall though, it was a relatively quiet week on this front.

Ratings Boost Prediction Results
Let's see how I did
on my predictions this week (and as always come back over the weekend for next week's predictions):
-From the High Probability section I went: (1/2)
I hit on Lindor but missed on Arrieta. Though I feel pretty good I put Arrieta here even before the no-hitter so you’re welcome Jake Arrieta.
-From the Moderate Probability section I went: (2/5)
I hit on Miguel Sano and Mike Fiers. I’m sort of to the point where I just assume the developers think guys like Bumgarner are what they are at this point and shouldn’t be raised or lowered. And I’m fine with that, but I have to stop predicting certain guys like that will go up in ratings.
-From the Low Probability section I went: (0/2)
Both picks here were speculative in Bryant and Nola. Bryant had a walk-off home run recently but he’s been steady more than anything. Nola is probably a little too green to get a boost on a bad Phillies team.
