Forza Six: E3 Preview Discussion Breakdown

Even though we are still over two months away from Forza 6 hitting
retail shelves and digital distribution, the good folks over at Turn 10 did all Forza fans a huge favor with a very expansive and detailed showcase during E3. If you don't have the time to check out the video of all the new features and improvements, don't worry, we have you covered.

  • Loyalty Program - Depending on what previous Forza games you have played, each individual could have up to 25 million in credits waiting for them when they fire up Forza 6 for the first time.
  • Ford GT - The all new Ford GT is included in the game, and will grace the cover of Forza 6 at launch.
  • Locations - Forza 6 will feature 26 different locations, including 10 newly captured ones.
  • All Forza 5 locations will make a return in the newest version of Take 10's racing spectacle.
  • US Circuits - For those NASCAR fans wondering what Sprint Cup tracks will be available, we can confirm right now that Daytona, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Watkins Glen will be there at launch.
  • Vehicles - Forza 6 will feature over 450 cars at launch, and all will have full cockpit view, real-life physics, and realistic damage
  • Multiplayer - Forza 6 will feature 24-vehicle multiplayer, and also will allow two-player split screen.
  • Detailed vehicles and environments - The developers have promised that Forza 6 will run at 60fps with 1080p resolution. The game will feature multiple living environments that are immersive and richly detailed, including weather effects.
  • Career Mode - The career mode will be more than 70 hours, and will no longer have cups to win. It will be story driven, with the all new "Stories of Motorsport."
  • League Racing - Forza 6 will feature a brand new Forza Race League mode that will allow non-participants to spectate the race. Race League will also feature full pit stops, including car tuning, damage repair and refueling. No word if it's an interactive pit stop at this time, but we will update as soon as we know.
  • Drivatars - Drivatars are back, and according to the developers, they are refined and better than ever. Real-world information from both Forza Horizon 2 and Forza 5 has also been implemented to help create the most realistic AI driver to date.

As you can see there is an awful lot to be excited about when Forza 6 drops on September 15. The developers have seemingly listened to the feedback that fans of the series have provided, and tried to implement as much as they can during a single development cycle. There will be more information released in the upcoming weeks, and more than 300 cars have yet to be revealed. It's an exciting time to be a console racing fan, and it looks like Forza 6 will add immensely to that excitement.
