Practice Makes Perfect

If you're like me and call yourself a couch coach, then you and your team hit the practice field with regularity. The old saying "practice makes perfect" could not be more accurate as is the case on NCAA 08.

Taking your team out to the woodshed and working them to death will help get your game right. The practice mode is a very healthy tool especially to those that already have trouble with the passing aspect of the game. Working on the option, running the ball over and over again, and even getting reps in the kicking game can and will help get your game up to speed? A lot of people run to the nearest electronic store, buy the game, get home, rip open the package and start a dynasty all on the first day. And without learning the new features and practicing new moves, many people get all upset and complain about how the game isn't being fair to them. Sometimes all it takes a little practice time with your "11 digital men" on the field.

We all know that the defense on the game is sitting on pins and needles ready to force turnovers, so why not run offensive plays that you know will work? Or how about picking the correct blitzing package that will allow you to get to the QB without leaving your safeties on an island? All you have to do is work hard in the practice mode before diving head first into combat.

As many defensive packages on the game that you can dress up or disguise, I'm sure that you can create your winning success by picking that one play that worked for you when you tried it against your own offensive. Lastly, keep those turnovers down and save yourself from disappointment by working on your offensive sets. Save yourself a bunch of anger and stress by practicing before getting online and getting embarrassed by way better gamers out there. What could it hurt?
