I have to say that this whole world baseball classic is a joke. They need to get rid of this to protect major league stars from getting injured. Those players don't play winter ball then they go full go 2 weeks after spring training begins. It's not helping any major league clubs out at all. The Cleveland Indians (i am a cleveland sports fan) had Mark DeRosa and Shin-Soo Choo participate and the Indians are fortunate that those 2 did not get hit with the injury bug. This whole WBC should either be moved to the winter or be gotten rid of at all.

They should definitely shorten it. Too many meaningless games. I think they should have it the week prior to the start of the season. That way players would be ready to compete for real.
