(MV) RB - Adrian Peterson Vs. (GB) Packers front 7 - The Packers are at home, but finished 17th in rushing defense. Meanwhile, Peterson averaged just over 132 ypg at home, and just below 130 ypg away from the Metrodome. In week 13 at Green bay AP went for 210 yards on 21 touches in a losing effort 23-14.
(GB) LT - Marshall Newhouse Vs. (MV) RE - Jared Allen/Everson Griffen - In the 2 regular season games the Vikings DE's tallied 3 sacks a piece, and 11 total tackles. The Packers are decimated with O-line injuries, but Aaron Rodgers is managing just fine.
(MV) C - John Sullivan Vs. (GB) NT B.J. Raji - Who is John Sullivan? He was a 6th round pick in 2008, and has started 61 games since. He has dealt with Raji for 2 games a year since B.J.'s rookie year in 2009. Sullivan and the Vikings line has done pretty well holding Raji to just 14 tackles, and 1 sack.
(GB) WR - Greg Jennings Vs. (MN) DB - Antoine Winfield - Reports are that Winfield is dealing with a hand injury, and is questionable for Saturday. In last week's season finale Jennings had his best game in his injury riddled year, catching 8 balls, gaining 120 yards, and 2 TD's.
(MV) QB - Christian Ponder Vs. (GB) QB - Aaron Rodgers - This match-up seems silly, "We all know Rodgers is the better QB." I am not arguing that, the QB's match-up is always one of importance especially in the playoffs. Ponder is coming off arguably his best game of the season last week Vs. GB, but came away with bruised elbow. Rodgers is at home where he is 0-1 losing last year's playoff game to the eventual champion NY Giants.
