Despite Matthew Stafford's 331 yards in a game which continued to show his promise as a NFL-caliber signal-caller, several promising Lions drives stalled, resulting in another heavy work load for Jason Hanson, who kicked three field goals on the afternoon.
Maurice Morris, in his second start since taking over starter's duties, carried the ball for 73 yards and added another 93 on four catches.
But it was Peterson who dominated the game with his turn as a dual-threat back. Nobody would blink at a 173-yard performance from the Viking back, but when you add another 104 through the air?
