Since the release of NBA 2K11 there have been nothing but praises for how realistic and fun this game is! Surely this game has told a ton of copies since its release which brings me to question....will the 2K revolution be televised?

For the last few years, the only sports games I've invested most of my time in are:

NFL: none (Madden just doesn't do it for me anymore).
NBA: NBA 2K series (NBA Live...you lose)
NCAA FB: NCAA Football series EA
NCAA BB: College Hoops 2k8 (it never gets old)
MLB: MLB 10: The Show (Sorry MLB 2K, just not good enough)

So this brings me to wonder if the 2K, Take-Two, Visual Concepts will FINALLY get the financial backing to release a new College Hoops and NFL 2K game? I know due to the recent lay offs it'll be hard to add manpower to support the necessary parts to successfully create such a game, but what if? The 2K team were arguably putting out better product than their EA counterparts during the early 2000s. But at this rate with the success of NBA 2K11, I would fully support the idea...no...the reality of playing a new College Hoops and/or NFL 2K game.

Come on man. You must know that the reason neither of those games are being made has nothing to do with VC not having the resources. Would be nice though. My list is the same as yours save for NCAA Football. It's just Madden with college teams. Great game, but the EA football engine is just poor.

ea owns the exclusive rights to nfl and ncaa sports, and scince mlb10 the show's developer is owned by sony thats not comin to 360...
Its not a money thing anymore with 2k, they just wanna wait till these contracts are over so they can dev.
