I cant believe some of the things that happen in this game. Ai blockers just run away from defenders letting them pass by, robo qb passing just as im about to sack him every time, ridiculous amount of time for cpu to sit back, relax, have a cup of tea and then oh yeah throw the football! I have overlooked these issues for the most part because they werent game breakers. i can still get big runs, the pass defense gets a decent amount of deflections and ints and every now and then i can get a sack. ... I am overall happy with madden 10 but the rave reviews some websites have given it are just insane to me. yes this game is better than madden 09 no question but for me some of the basic fundamentals of football are clearly not followed which in my eyes can not justify any 8s or 9s. some of the small issues can be ignored or adjusted with sliders. but some flaws in the game arent even football its just common sense. if my guy is tackling someone and pushes them down their is no way as the player ... Should we have to mess with the sliders so much?

I like madden 10 dont get me wrong. There are somethings it does great and some other things (pass rush) not so much. i have been on the forums and seen plenty of posts for sliders that make in their opinion make the game better. My question for everyone is should we really have to tinker with the sliders so much just to get realistic games? i thought the goal of the madden dev was to make a sim football game. im not sayin take the sliders out because they should be there for minor tweaks here and ...
