Looks like J.Hill came up big but he is the only one off the bench that did good with his 8 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 ast. Jamison on the other hand, 3-12 that's only 25% from the field, and 1-6 from 3point land such. Why are your starters playing less than 20 minutes a game? I understand getting everyone some minutes but looks like your starters are starving for action. Good win, assuming you are the Lakers?

J Hill did come up big. The bench came up big due to them playing so much and keeping the game close. Starters were getting tired easily so I figured rotating the lineup couldn't hurt. Just trying to be cautious and not wear down or injure any of my starters so early in the season. Regardless, yes it was a good win and I am playing as the Lakers.

yea i know 1st game he was 2/2 with a HR and 2 RBI but hes back next game, the game before I do my May update so I like the way its looking. May even deal Beltre again for some speed and depth since I have Kemp back. Unsure

The nice thing with NHL 13 though, with the new realism that will be in the game, if you are less skilled at scoring or whatever in game, you can still set your team up to do a 1-4 or 1-3-1 trap and defend your way to glory. Personally, I have always rebuilt teams on old NHL games, keeping only a small core of players and then introducing rookies for years and years until the perfect fit is found, this time it will be slightly different. I have a feeling some of the deals I do with the Kings will be questioned by many, but with my gameplan, they will be essential.

That was something I mentioned in one of our threads too; Your success in the league will most likely be a balance of management skills and skills with the sticks. I know as the Leafs I may not be even close to the top of the league in terms of talent, so I'll be relying on my experience with the game to get me through the first couple years and hopefully keep me competitive.Love that you're doing this blog thing, I will definitely be a reader.

Thanks. I know that my team isn't the top rated team. I'd look at the Philly, Pens, Rangers, Canucks and Sharks of the game to be the front runners, as it starts out. It also depends on our own abilities as well as GM's and players, so it's hard to gauge in the first season, but I'm hoping the moves I plan to make will pay off and keep me competitive in this league.

lol yea i kinda just read and do my franchise, usually only leave feedback if i have a question or something like that, but your updates usually have a minor summary, boxscore for pitchers and one for batting. I would go through a few dynasty pages here and yours was one started back when you had your spring training posts hahaha didnt feel i needed to leave feedback because i had no questions/concerns with a very good laid out dynasty. - Anyway good luck and looking forward to posts to come ! Yeah those 1st round picks may hurt, but that will just put more pressure on the team to make sure those picks aren't gonna be lottery-worthy. Kinda being like the Lakers where as long as the pick isn't too high, I'd rather get players that I KNOW will help me out and are proven already. But thanks for the comments guys!
