What Does NCAA Football 11 Need To Be Great?

Before NCAA Football 10 was released, there was lots of hype because of Teambuilder and Season Showdown being added. People were expecting it to be the best yet. It wasn't even close to expectations. Teambuilder looked promising but had many problems and Season Showdown was pretty much fluff to begin with. NCAA Football 06 on the PS2/Xbox still remains the best NCAA of all time. In order for EA to catch up to their last-gen efforts, here are some things that need to be added.

1. Authentic coaches/offenses
The coaches are the most important component of college football. They are the ones who call the plays, recruit and build the program. With coaches getting in the limelight lately, and many high profile hirings and firings, named coaches are a must. And add their authentic offenses, instead of a generic spread or flexbone, add the true, coach-specific playbooks. Or at least get the current playbooks right. Add real assistants as well so they can get new jobs as head coaches.

2. Presentation overhaul
After what EA did with NCAA Basketball 10, there is now no excuse for NCAA Football 11 not to have ESPN/ABC presentation (or maybe even CBS for the SEC, Army-Navy game and the Sun Bowl). They had the ESPN license for a while and pretty much never used it until NCAA Basketball 10. Now it's time to put it in NCAA Football series. NCAA Football has more resources than NCAA Basketball and can probably do this better (if they tried to).

3. Gameplay fixes
Improve blocking by the O-line, it has been broken on all next generation games. Getting 50+ yard runs shouldn't be that easy. Improve the defensive AI on all levels. And the Robo QB thing needs to end.

4. Dynasty overhaul
Dynasty has been pretty much the same except for a few small additions for several years now. If you control FIU and make them into a powerhouse and move them into the SEC to replace Vanderbilt or something, you should be able to renovate the stadium and add more seats or even create your own stadium. Recruiting is fine for right now. Bring back the suspensions and spring games. Add a High-School All-American Game during off-season recruiting to scout your recruits. Have a coaching caroseul, so coaches can retire and get fired, and have assistants take their place.

I've covered the big things, now it's time for the little things...

Add some FCS teams (maybe even an FCS dynasty with playoff?)
Add ALL the Oregon uniforms
Add all the mascots (Like Otto the Orange for Syracuse or Donald Duck for Oregon)
Fix the marching bands
In-Game Teambuilder (longshot most likely, but would be useful for me since I don't have Xbox Live)
The ability to create your own bowl games in Dynasty
The ability to create actual custom conferences (I mean like a completely fictional conference, not like putting Texas in the Sun Belt or Tulane in the Big 12)
And get rid of non-televised games in Dynasty, most games are televised in one way or another, or on the school's website.

I think most NCAA Football players would agree with the features I listed. They would make NCAA Football 11 the best in the series, even NCAA Football 06.
