I'm a realist when it comes to sports games guys. I like a close to real sports experience.Simulation as they call it. So you can imagine my frustration of playing a sports game online.Its as if everyone passes along knowledge of how to exploit game programming or something.To me,its irritating as heck to play against.Every game I have picked up this '09 season is a headache online.I'll go down the list:
MADDEN 09-It was not as bad as 08,but boy do these cheesers spread glitches like wildfire.First it was the wr direct snap glitch.After seeing this i learned how to do it,and everytime someone did it to me,I did it right back.It was so funny to see them quit after getting a taste of their own medicine.Then it was the deep ball glitch.Didn't see it as much,but it was a pain as well.Add all of those plus the normal cheese of running Qb's around in the pocket all day,running the same glitchy te trips motion the wr and hike ,the people who try to rocket catch every pass,and my most personal favorite hated cheeser,the one who no huddles the whole game,and I had very high blood pressure.That and my girlfriend telling me she hates Madden...lol
Madden was traded in,partly because of cheesers,more so of sheer disappointment of being constantly let down,but thats a whole nother story all together..lol
NBA LIVE 09-Lord this game is a cheese lovers dream.There is no such thing as defense online.All these guys do is drive to the hole all game.No plays ran,no nothing.Oh and can't forget about the quick pass down court for the easy dunk cause your defense never gets back on D.....terrible!And EVERYONE plays this way online.Add to the fact that Live's mechanics are off,this game is a super headache.I advise you not to play the tournament of champions online,it should be called tournament of cheese.
NBA 2K9-A little lesser cheese,but still irritating.Its been the same the last 3 years:your opponent running around double teaming you and swiping at you every second like an unwanted knat at a barbecue.Then there seems to be a glitch in the game where driving baseline is an easy layup,so of course this means all people are gonna do is drive to the baseline.Which leads me to the last part...the superstar cheesers.You know,the guy who picks the Cavs or Lakers and scores every point with Kobe and Lebron.Add to the fact these two are practically unstoppable,and you will need some tylenol....

So after venting,I know alot of people love to use Ea's slogan as an excuse:if it's in the game....or it's a video game.But man I would rather have a root canal than play against a cheeser.I'm leaning more and more to just putting the games down,or just playing the computer....but if i had three wishes in video game land,one would definitely be a cheeser-less online environment....oh well,a brother can dream right?Or just load up on advil....peace guys.
