Introduction
Hello and welcome to my Hawaii Rainbow Warriors dynasty! After several restarted and failed dynasties, I have finally compiled a list of house rules to make my dynasty experience more realistic and fun for myself. I have also decided to chronicle the experience on OperationSports because I love their dynasty table generators and it will make the experience more fluid for everyone involved.
This is not my first dynasty with the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. I had a previous dynasty with them in which I went 10-3 and 7-2 in my first two seasons before I decided to end it due to it being unrealistic. I felt that the wins were coming too easily and the recruiting was very easy at Hawaii, despite them being off of the mainland. So in this dynasty I have implemented a bunch of house rules that will hopefully make it more realistic.
My long term goals for this dynasty will be to eventually move Hawaii to the Pac-12 and to win a national championship with the 'Bows. Of course, the move to the Pac-12 will only happen after I have several Mountain West Conference championships under my belt. I don't have a determined amount in time, but it definitely needs to be more than 2-3 or when I feel that Hawaii can successfully compete in the tougher Pac-12 conference.

On a different note, I don't have the capabilities to mod the game so that I can have a 4-team playoff, so I'll be sticking with the regular BCS format. It sucks, because I'd love to implement a playoff system, but the dynasty shall move on without it.
House Rules
Recruiting
Number of Signees: I can only sign (# of seniors + 2). For example, if I have 19 seniors on my team, I can only sign 19 recruits.
No Scouting: I cannot scout any of the recruits.
One Athlete: I can only sign one athlete to a recruiting class.
Regional Restrictions:
1 Star Prestige: I can only recruit my home state and pipelines.
2/3 Star Prestige: I can only recruit my home state, pipelines, and the states of Washington, Oregon, and California.
4 Star Prestige: I can only recruit my home state, pipelines, and the states of Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Nevada, and Idaho.
5/6 Star Prestige: There are no distance limitations but any other restrictions still apply.
Outsiders: I can recruit three outsiders from outside of the regional restrictions in order to build up more pipelines.
Away Game Recruiting: I can recruit one player from a state in which Hawaii is scheduled to play an away game. For example, if Hawaii is scheduled to play at Michigan State, I can recruit one player from the state of Michigan. I can recruit more than one player from that state ONLY IF two or more recruits are from the same hometown.
Interest Restrictions:
Top 10: Hawaii must be in a recruit's Top 10 in order to recruit them.
Outsiders: Hawaii does not have to be in these recruit's Top 10, but I cannot recruit any player that is one star higher than the school's current prestige.
Away Game: Hawaii does not have to be in these recruit's Top 10, but I cannot recruit any player that is one star higher than the school's current prestige.
In State: I can recruit any player within my home state, regardless of that player's ranking.
Scheduling
FCS Teams: I cannot schedule any FCS teams.
Rivalry Games: I must schedule at least one rivalry game per season if the schedule permits so.
Player Rankings
Manual Offseason Improvement Rankings: I will be manually editing each of my player during the offseason and not using the pre-programed training boosts that the game gives each player at the end of the season. I have not yet figured out which format to use for this, so I'll update this as needed.
Achievement Boosts: I will be giving CPU (and possibly my own) players boosts for achieving certain awards. Such awards will include a spot on an All-America team and each of the individual awards that are given near the end of the season. I have not yet figured out which format to use for this, so I'll update this as needed.
