The latest Madden blog talked about improvements to WR catching and DB reaction to the ball and the receiver, stating that WRs now determine the best catch animation to use in situations and are aware of where defenders are on the field and defensive backs play the receiver a lot more realistically. With thst being said we now have more catch animations that are used more realistically.

My Take:This is long overdue but I'm glad that EA is trying to identify problems in recent, well all Maden games. But I think with their being improvements to WR catching and being ble to utilize fade and out routes more effectively, there has to be an improvement to the passing game, this is one of many blogs that will be published, and the big blog will be released on draft day, also the mid air flip tackle has been removed, so with these improvements alone, Madden is already getting better.
