Riding off of my idea of Situational Awareness, Madden should incorporate animations with the given situation, and also use a bit of logic and realism. Every tackle should be able to be assisted, or the defenders should at least make a consist effort stop the ball carrier, WR fades in the endzone usually are jump balls in the back of the endzone, and depending on the the WR's height and hands, and the QB's Accuracy and ball placement, the pass could be completed, and the defender tries to knock the ball out of his hands. Cornerbacks tackles don't usually stop guys in their tracks unless they aim at the legs or they rely on the pursuit of his teammates to swarm the ball carrier, also Madden doesn't take in the logic of gap protection which is why no true pocket can ever be formed because guys are just all over, my RE is on the left side, LE is on the right side, players just doing whatever to get to the ball, and that is what their supposed to do but also they're supposed to be eliminating the cutback, or a scramble from the QB. Animations would improve gameplay, so this me campaigning for some new and realistic ones.

I failed to mention catch animation because as you can see, this blog already lengthy and I had to end it somewhere.

I totally agree that every tackle should be able to be assisted. I can't stand when a CPU starts to wrap up the runner (and you can tell he is going to break the tackle) but you can't hit that player with your controlled defender.

I completely agree with adding the proper animations for the right situation especially catching. It's almost impossibe to throw a fade to the endzone becuse the receiver can't turn around and jump up and go get it.

I agree also size needs to p;lay a bigger role in the game. You should also be able to affect the ballcarrier in any situatio. The playbooks need to be expanded especially on defense. Offensive Linemen need zone/blocking rules which I believe would translate very well to a video game.

i love it. Also I think once they incorporate the "real time presentation" like Mlb the show 10 is recieving this year, and multiple commentators like Ncaa baskeball 10 it would be hard to beat my friend. and please less scripted moves. They really need to get more variety on the jukes, takles, running styles etc.
