1. Defensive Player Name Display: The difference Between Revis Island and Kyle Wilson is pretty big, or being able to see who's edge rushing. Knowing where Defensive Playmakers are on the field is the key to any offense. If I see Aldon Smith in the game, I would like to know so that I can either audible to a quick throw, slide my protection, or have my RB pass block, or block and release. Being able to see Defensive Player Names also could be used to create mismatches for your Offense, Linebackers on Receivers is a no-brainer, that should be your first read, unless It's Brian Urlacher or Patrick Willis, or any LB with decent coverage skills, and a little speed.
2.Jump Snap Button: Madden's D-Line VS. O-Line interaction has been less than stellar for years now, and a Jump Snap Button probably won't fix everything, but would make things a little more interesting. For the most part, the Jump Snap Button works in NCAA, sometimes its a bit overpowered, but I'll take that over having nothing at all, which is where Madden stands right now. Blowing up a run play with a Nose Tackle is pretty awesome, but unavailable. Unless your playing with Ndamakong Suh, Its almost impossible.
3.Preseason Blunders: Really not a lot to say, I'm sure everyone knows all that is wrong with the preseason, Kickers Punting, Punters kicking field goals, CPU teams cutting guys that shouldn't be cut, trading away guys thinking they have depth at that position. It's painfully obvious the Offseason Logic that was supposedly in Madden 12 is definitely not in Madden 13. Cleveland almost always signs Donovan Mcnabb, Marcus Trufant, Isaac Redman, and Lorenzo Alexander always on the trading block. Brandon Wheeden is a 1st round pick, and won the QB battle over Colt McCoy(McCoy might disagree), so why does the CPU feel the need to upgrade the position? Seattle's strength on Defense is their secondary depth, but the CPU elects to trade Trufant, Rashard Mendenhall is injury prone, so the Steelers keep a RB committee, Redman being one of their main guys, along with Johnathan Dwyer, who usually gets cut after the preseason. the Redskins run a 3-4, with Alexander in the middle, it'd be different if Washington ran a 4-3, his value would drop.
4.Small XP Gains: If every player on your team completed their team goals, that'd be awesome, but very unrealistic numbers. I have no problem with my whole team not meeting their goals, but the only way I can improve their rating is by running up the score at the end of games, or just doing somethinh un-NFL like. That's why I believe Small XP Gains would be great, I'm thinking somewhere between 50-100 xp for doing smaller task, points should be awarded for every tackle, tackle assist(not counted in Madden 13 yet), half sacks(also not counted), defensive stops(tackles of 3 yards or less/tackles resulting in 4th down/turnover on downs). My main focus is the defense because they seem to get the short end of the stick when it comes to earning XP.
