Simple man VS Complex world or My adventures as a technotard

Last year, I got excited about the Teambuilder thing at first but before the game was even released I had managed to screw my teams all up (which I still don't fully understand) and then just passed on the game all together.

This year I'm excited again...they added audio tracks for most of the team names I use. Woot!

But once more something that should be easy...takes a turn for the confusing for me. This is my first year with a PS3 and my new PSN gamertag doesn't seem to register at the EA site...it gives me instructions on what I need to do, but in case you didn't read the title of this blog...I'm Technotarded.

My PS3 currently seems to think it's in a region/country that doesn't have access to the PSN shop. My WiFi router and PS3 argue more than a Presidential debate and I don't understand half of the terms used when people offer me advice on fixing all of this.

I've considered trying to get one of the kids in my neighborhood to help me but that's got a whole creepy don't want it to look like THAT vibe about it.

So I've got to wait for a buddy to get back from vacation and bribe him with pizza if I'm ever gonna figure this stuff out.

Feel free to TRY and help me but expect nothing more than a blank stare and a exasperated "Huh?"

UPDATE: For anyone bored enough to be paying attention.

A pizza and a 2 liter Mellow Yellow later....and my boy has the world back on the path.

I got the NCAA11 demo downloaded finally and a PS3 persona at EA's Teambuilders.

Happy fat boy, I am today!
